This was a great string that provided me with ample touch and feel on my shots. Felt very similar to Alu power rough in all aspects. For the price it was an amazing replacement. Low powered for sure but that the way I like it.

This is reviewing the 17 gauge. I'm a 4.0 player. Love this Durafluxx string, it's my current favorite of all strings, and I've tried tons of control oriented strings. I love taking full swings, and need great control, which this string gladly provides. It has slightly more power than my previous favorite string, which made the difference in choosing this over that one. Spin is great as are flat shots. Snap back is good. Comfort is good, you feel the ball, on your sting bed, without it being harsh (just as long as you have a loose grip). I like the feedback of the string bed, as it encourages a loose grip which you very much need especially for effective groundstrokes and on serve. Great for serving and volleys as well. Its durability is fantastic too, and doesn't bag out after many hours of use. No negatives on my end, just as long as you take full committed swings and prefer a control, stiff, yet comfortable enough string. I liked this a lot better than the Black Night, which is the first Tru Pro string I tried. Great job Tru Pro.

Strung the this in a powerful, 16x16 racket. The string tamed the power and I was able to hit deep, kicking shots that gave opponents trouble. Short angled, heavy topspin shots are easy with this string. I thought the string shined on return of serve. I was able to absorb the serve power and redirect easily. I’m not a great server, but I was getting nice spin that gave me confidence to go after my second serve. It felt comfortable for a poly string. I was able to pull off some nice drop shots along with easy floating lobs. If you play a power game with a power racket, then this string can add a lot of control. Definitely needs a user who can generate their own power.

Durafluxx is soft and it offers power and very decent spin. It is also quite durable. A player who opens up the shoulder to swing will be pleased with the power that comes off this string. Some of the competitive players at our facility sing the praises of this string and have me order it when they need re-stringing.

Put this in my SX 300 tour and it tamed the power and really increased the control allowing to swing out fully. Spin was great and you can feel the strings grab the ball especially in slightly more open string beds. This is a great string for stiffer power rackets as it doesn't feel very harsh which a lot of low power strings suffer from. Truly a great string for hard hitters

I enjoy Tier One strings and the Durafluux is the string I have used the most. I tried out their trial pack and enjoyed them all, but decided to buy a reel of Durafluux because it felt softer and was a great price. I can swing hard and the ball will go in. I play a heavy ball and all my shots go in right under the baseline. I have great access to short angles with excellent precision. Durability is great I think, but I break my string on edge of racket mishits most often. I think those mishits are what makes the string break, or maybe my stringier pinches the string in the wheel. You really can't go wrong for 656ft of 80 dollars worth of great string.

At first it was difficult to wrap my head around the unique feeling of the string. It felt soft (I like to string my polys at around 52 lbs) but not lively. I was surprised how well I was able to control my aggressive groundstrokes and the amount of spin I was able to generate. I play the 16 gauge and as the string name Durafluxx already describes - exceptional durability for a big hitter like me

I play D1 college and my coach just bought a couple of reels of Durafluxx 16g from you. He told me to give you guys some feedback on this string. First, I have to say I never played a string that felt that way. It did not give me the usual crisp sound that I am used to playing with poly. It rather had a more muted sound to it. Although I was not used to the low powered feeling of the string the overall performance was exceptional. Great control and ball pocketing. It really allowed me to take full cuts on the ball without ever having the feeling of hitting the ball too deep. Durability was better of what I am used from other polys we usually play. I would definitely recommend this string to any player who breaks strings and likes to take big cuts on the ball!

I have been using this string for a few years now. I went thru extensive research and trial prior to finding Tier 1 products and this is was the best string for the price. It lasts for a long time and still gives a nice feeling of the ball. I usually break stings within a few hours but with Durafluxx I can go in average for at least a week without having to string again.

I'm a 4.0-4.5 baseliner w/ W-FH and 1hBH. tested in hybrid set ups (with synthetic 17g on cross) in tight pattern prostaff rok 93 and graphene radical pro 98 (graphene numbers given second). tension maintenance was good, string bed tension right after stringing was around 53/54 lbs (target tension 55/57), and dropping to 50.5/51 over first 24 hours before hitting. above average amount of spin but it felt like the string has a head-speed requirements, if I wasn't swinging with at least my average rally stroke speed, the amount of string influence and spin dropped. Swinging with my average or flat/power strokes felt amazing and confident but I couldn't find the depth for touch/drop shots because of the lack of reactivity. Because of this headspeed requirement, first serves (avg ball spd 75-80 mph) felt absolutely amazing and my percentage actually went up, but my second serves were unpredictable at times (avg ball spd 55-60 mph) especially if i was taking off pace and trying to spin it in. on my good days this string would be on my top 3 list that i'd want to hit. on my bad days a racket with this string wouldn't leave the bag. if I blind tested the 17g version, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference by feel or spin between this and gamma moto 16g. (my wallet would know though since this string is $6 cheaper)
